JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a pro active approach to completing daily tasks and be able to work within a busy environment. This role involves picking customer orders, unloading vehicles and putting away stock, loading deliveries and general housekeeping of the yard and stock ensuring that it is well-kept, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. This role will require manual lifting as well as counterbalance/telescopic Forklift experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in Builders Merchants or Drainage Supplies is preferred but not essential.
• Forklift License and/or Experience would be preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for Customer Service
• Good physical stamina as the role requires lifting and physical work.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of work quality.
  Hours - Mon-Fri
  7.30am-5pm
  *Salary does depend on experience
