Van Driver- Construction Company (Central London)
Location: Central London
Contract: 3-months temp-to-perm
Pay: GBP15-GBP17 per hour (PAYE) - Equivalent to GBP33,000 per year
Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company operating across Central London. They’re looking for a reliable and experienced Van Driver who can also support operations in the yard when needed.
This role is ideal for a professional driver with a background in construction logistics, builders merchants, or site support - someone confident driving in London, handling deliveries, and working with materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 3.5 tonne flatbed van to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to multiple sites across London
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring everything is secure and handled correctly
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Support the yard team with loading, organising stock, and keeping the area tidy
• Help ensure that all health & safety procedures are followed on-site and in the yard
• Communicate clearly with site managers and office staff regarding delivery schedules

What You’ll Need:

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) - Essential
• Previous experience driving vans in London or within the construction/builders merchant sector
• Confident with manual handling and lifting (this is a physical role)
• Solid understanding of construction site logistics and materials
• A reliable, punctual, and self-motivated attitude
• Good knowledge of safe loading practices and vehicle checks
