We are a recruiting on behalf of a well-established fabrication company based in Blackpool, supplying high-quality components to a range of industries. Due to growth, they are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join our team.

THE ROLE

As a Forklift Driver / Yard Operative, you will play a key role in keeping the yard and workshop running smoothly. This is a hands-on role working closely with the fabrication team to ensure materials and stock are managed effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely load and unload inbound and outbound vehicles
Operate forklifts and yard equipment to move and store metals and components
Maintain accurate stock control and ensure materials are stored correctly
Feed products and raw materials to the fabrication team as required
Keep the yard tidy, safe, and free from hazards in line with 5S principles
Ensure all external storage areas are organised and items are correctly placed
Support workshop operations by ensuring a smooth flow of materials
