Working within Homefire Group, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative to join our Gatwick Depot on a temporary, full-time basis, commencing September 2025 until March 2026.
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will ensure legal compliance to vehicle load capacity and security; have hands-on management of the traffic office function to ensure compliance to company data entry and office administration procedures; possess excellent communication skills to provide a reliable, friendly and knowledgeable customer service experience.

Responsibilities

o Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential
o Experience of basic mechanical plant safety checks.
o Good organisational and analytical skills.
o Must be a “team player” with the ability to work well under pressure.
o Previous experience in the solid fuel industry or solid fuel product knowledge (ideally).
o Previous experience in a transport or Goods Yard environment.
o Previous Stock Management experience.
