We are currently seeking a yard operative to join our busy team in Sidmouth, Devon.
Duties include general labouring and operating a fire wood processor, loading vehicles with firewood for delivery.
We offer competitive rates of pay for the right candidate paid weekly.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• Able to commute to EX10 - Hours: 8am - 4:30 pm start time.
• Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Conscientious with a good ‘can do’ attitude
• Happy to work outdoors in all weathers
• Reliable, with good time keeping
• Positive, friendly and helpful
• Honest, willing to learn from mistakes
• Physically fit and used to manual labour

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• UK Driving Licence & own transport
• Basic mechanical & maintenance knowledge, changing bulbs, checking levels etc
• Ability to drive tractors and Manitou/telehandler
• Ability to manoeuvre trailers
• Knowledge of the local area
