Description

We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Yard Person and Forklift Operator to join our Head Office in Hazelmere for an immediate start. Reporting to the Transport Superintendent you will be required for supporting the team with loading and unloading of general freight in accordance with company policies & procedures and adhering to all EHS&T guidelines. Hours of work are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Duties and Responsibilities: Loading and unloading of general freight, including safe operation of Forklift Manually load transport containers with freight using safe manual handling techniques Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility legislation Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company policy and procedures Minimum Requirements: Previous experience within the transport and logistics industry Essential - hold a valid forklift ticket Working knowledge of the Chain of Responsibility Demonstrated proactive workplace health & safety behaviours Be physically fit Be able to commit to full time hours at our Hazelmere warehouse Benefits: Competitve remuneration package Career development opportunities Supportive and inclusive company culture Permanent full time job opportunity Click on the Apply button to start your journey and join the Barminco team today.
