YARD & CUSTOMER SERVICE - LANDSCAPING MERCHANT

Full-Time Position Available – Congleton & Crewe area.
We are seeking a motivated and versatile team member to join our busy landscaping merchant. This varied role combines warehouse operations, customer service, and stock management in a fast-paced environment serving both trade professionals and domestic customers.
The ideal candidate will be able to reliably attend set days at two branches, Crewe (CW2 7RL) and Congleton (CW12 2HT).
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm, Saturday 7:00am - 12:00pm (rota basis)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid FLT licence
• Experience in a warehouse or merchant environment
• Strong computer literacy for order processing systems
• Excellent communication skills for dealing with diverse customer base
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Good numeracy skills for stock management and sales

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in landscaping, building supplies, or similar merchant environment
• Knowledge of landscaping products and materials
• Customer service experience in both retail and trade environments
• Telescopic Handler licence.
