Lifts/carries materials and performs other duties involving the use of hand and power tools. Must be physically capable of standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 80lbs. Candidate must be willing to learn and capable of following detailed instructions. Essential Job Functions Transportation, Loading/Unloading of materials, equipment, and tooling. Ensure that fleet and tooling are maintained and in good working order that comply with company safety standards, as well as all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Responds clearly, completely, and in a timely manner to employee and supervisor inquiries Operate heavy equipment including front loaders, skid steers, excavators, load trucks, move pipe and associated tools and materials, move pipe and associated tools and materials Clean up rubble and debris; perform other restoration such as blacktop and landscape. Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment and materials. Pick up materials from utility store rooms and deliver them to job sites This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements Position Qualifications CDL a plus & ability to operate heavy equipment Familiarity with basic concepts, practices, and procedures within the office procedures Strong aptitude for organization and attention to detail The ability to exercise discretion with sensitive information while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment Proficient in oral and written communication skills with the ability to express and exchange ideas clearly and concisely Knowledge and ability to apply good judgment to effectively assess and recommend solutions in day-to-day activities and emergency situations. Additional Information Must pass pre-employment drug screening Current, valid driver license with a good driving record.
