Eagle Roofing Products Florida is hiring! We are seeking a resolute and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations within our Yard. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and knowledge. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Supervision.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Yard Supervisor or in a similar role within a distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and best practices in Project Management.
• Experience using PC and software literate.
• Solid understanding of shipping/receiving processes and inventory management techniques.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to periodically walk around the yard throughout the shift.
• Ability to sit and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to twenty pounds, bend, stoop, reach, etc.

• Supervise yard operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Oversee the loading ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving.
• Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within the yard.
• Ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Utilize Eagle’s management systems to track inventory and manage workflow.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate yard staff to promote a high-performance culture.
• Assist customers (roofers, builders, etc.) throughout the work shift.
