SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ability to safely load and unload materials, utilizing proper lifting techniques
Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts
Strong materials handling skills to efficiently move and organize inventory within the yard
Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines related to forklift operation and workplace transport safety
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills

Perform various yard duties, including but not limited to loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness of the yard
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling of goods
Follow safety protocols and always maintain a safe work environment
Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the yard
Operating forklift lifting equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Loading and unloading materials from trucks using appropriate equipment
Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated locations using forklift equipment
Performing routine safety checks on equipment and reporting any malfunctions or damage
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
