We are currently seeking a Yardperson to join our team at our Canning Vale depot, supporting yard operations, material logistics and field crews across the Western Power network. About the Role This is a hands-on opportunity to join the electrical supply industry, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in maintaining yard operations and ensuring materials, tools and equipment are transported safely and efficiently between depots, yards and operational work sites. Key Responsibilities Transport materials, tools, equipment and spare parts between depots, yards and operational work sites. Operate a company ute and forklift to safely move and deliver materials across the Western Power network. Assist the Storeperson with receiving, storing, dispatching and tracking inventory. Maintain yard housekeeping, storage areas, vehicles and equipment to a high standard. Support field crews by ensuring materials and equipment are available safely, accurately and on time This is a physically active role involving manual handling, regular driving and outdoor work. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening. About You Experience in a yard, warehouse, logistics, construction, utilities or maintenance environment. Current Forklift (LF) Licence and unrestricted Driver's Licence. Current Construction White Card. HIAB (CV) and/or HR Licence highly regarded. Strong safety focus with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join UGL?
