SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Worker to join our team in Luddendenfoot, near Halifax. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our shop-fitting and maintenance projects, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Organising and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient yard
• Assisting with general yard duties and basic maintenance tasks
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Delivering and collecting goods between sites, suppliers, and the yard
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
• Support delivery drivers with logistics and routes
• Supporting waste management and recycling procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Report any equipment or safety issues to management
• Qualifications
• Valid full driving license (clean preferred)
• Experience in driving and operating vehicles (essential)
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment is an advantage (preferred)
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork (essential)
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus (preferred)
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team (essential)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (essential)
• Safety-conscious and committed to high standards of work (essential)
