As the Yardsman you will support the sales & warehouse teams in all aspects of delivering a quality service for customer purchases and maintain a tidy workplace in the warehouse.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES SOUGHT

• Sound understanding of the materials and building industry
• Previous experience in similar role
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Be able to communicate delays in delivery of products and orders
• Current driver’s licence
• Forklift licence – highly desirable
• Previous customer service / sales experience
• Physically fit to be able to pass a pre-employment medical as required
• Exceptional work ethic
• Excellent customer service rapport
• Ability to work independently and within in a team.
• Ability to take directions and execute them.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with some Saturday work

• Dispatch (pick & pack) of orders/deliveries
• Receival of orders/deliveries
• Loading and unloading of truck/s
• Yard Maintenance
• Communication with staff, customers & management
• Take direction and show initiative
• Attention to detail of codes
• Selling the Company’s products and services
• Complete all paperwork relating to sales & warehouse work areas
• Driving a Forklift an advantage (licence required)
