Yellowstone Club’s Food & Beverage departments are currently seeking a Banquet Beverage Supervisor under the Food & Beverage department. Purpose:  The purpose of the Banquet Beverage Supervisor is to oversee the wine, beer, and spirits program at Yellowstone Club for the Banquet Department, in-line with the goals set forth by the Beverage Director.  Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly or indirectly supervises employees; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Club’s policies, procedures and applicable laws; responsibilities include but are not limited to: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  Essential Job Functions:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Maintaining positive member relationships, processing complaints, and responding to member needs. * Responsible for assisting in all aspects of ordering, including but not limited to, selecting and purchasing quantities of goods and merchandise, monthly inventory of all beer, wine , and liquor. Maintaining pars on all beverages each week. * Raise the current standard of all areas of beverage to a world class level, second to none. * Assist bar program in menu development, service standards, and floor support as needed. * Responsible to stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, products, and systems. * Grow a beverage training program that incentivizes knowledge development. * Create and maintain a beverage training compendium. * Planning and execution of the beverage program pertaining to Member events.  * Understand and execute BEO’s to ensure proper inventories are in line with upcoming events and special order needs.  * Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverage for all banquet and catering events. * Interact with Members and guests, taking orders and serving beverages. * Assess Member and guest’s needs and preference and making beverage recommendations.  * Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. * Check Member and guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age. * Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Experience/Education Required High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work required; Two-three years of experience in a small restaurant, bar, club, or banquet setting. One-year supervisory experience required.  The position offered is a seasonal position located in Big Sky, Montana.
