We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a good-rated primary school in Derby teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class. This full-time, long-term position is set to begin in September 2025 and will run through to Easter 2026 currently with the opportunity to be extended until the end of summer.
About the Role

As a Year 3/4 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Support pupils in developing core skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child can achieve their potential
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure strong outcomes for all pupils
  • Inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in your classroom

About You

We’re looking for:

  • QTS or QTLS qualification with experience in KS2, ideally in KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • A passion for helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to continuous professional development
