KS2 CLASS TEACHER JOB

Are you an experienced and strong primary teacher with QTS looking for a new teaching role from April 2025?

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AS A YEAR 3 CLASS TEACHER

  • Create engaging lessons based on planned objectives. Consider differentiation to ensure progression in students’ learning.
  • Team plan with the parallel teacher.
  • Create clear targets, considering prior attainment.
  • Fulfil the school’s and national assessment requirements. Maintain accurate records and report student progress appropriately.
  • Manage Learning Support Assistants and other helpers in the classroom.
  • Actively engage in primary school duties, including supervising playtimes and leading whole school and class assemblies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS KEY STAGE 2 ROLE IN BARNET

  • Hold QTS status.
  • Have experience of working in primary schools in the UK, especially in KS 2.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Show good standards of professionalism, being well-organised and capable of working to policy and procedure to agreed timescales.
