You will guide the Trainee Intern (TI) year, ensuring students are fully prepared for their transition into the New Zealand health workforce as PGY1 interns. You’ll oversee the coordination of four ten-week rotations — medicine, surgery, selectives, and electives — and ensure students gain comprehensive experience across hospital, primary care, and rural settings. You’ll provide academic and clinical leadership, ensuring the Year 4 curriculum delivers excellence in teaching, cultural safety, and accreditation compliance. Working with the Assessment Lead, you’ll oversee final-year assessments and support students in consolidating their professional and clinical competence. This is a 0.4 FTE, fixed-term role for 24 months, with competitive salary and benefits. For more information on the role please see the position description.
