ROLE PURPOSE

The Dorset Combined Youth Justice Service (YJS) is looking to recruit a full time Education Officer to join our stable and supportive team. The ethos of the team is “child first” and all staff have been trained in trauma informed practice and working restoratively.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Education Officer is to support, challenge, monitor, assess and negotiate the suitability and quality of educational provision for children in the Youth Justice Service. The Education Officer will promote a culture of high aspiration that allows children to achieve their education potential.
