Compensation: $25 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | Mornings and Evening Hours | School Year
The YMCA at KIPP DC is hiring a passionate and experienced Site Director to lead our Pre-K / Kindergarten program. This position is responsible for creating a nurturing environment for early learners while managing program staff and daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children ages 3–6 in a licensed childcare or school-based setting
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or program management role
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, or equivalent experience
• CDA or early childhood education coursework preferred
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience fostering an environment for children of all abilities is valued.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pre-K / Kindergarten afterschool program
• Supervise and mentor Group Leaders and Senior Group Leaders
• Ensure that all program components meet early childhood development standards
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and communications
• Foster strong partnerships with families, school personnel, and YMCA supervisors
• Ensure compliance with early childhood licensing standards and YMCA guidelines
