Pride Muay Thai is looking for passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructors to join our team in Richmond, BC.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to our students in a studio setting. You will be responsible for teaching the curriculum in a fun and engaging way, while maintaining a safe and positive environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for yoga and working with beginners. They will have excellent communication skills, be able to inspire and engage their students, and be willing to learn new techniques.

SKILLS:

  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred.
  • Experience teaching yoga preferred.
  • Ability to lead groups in a classroom setting.
    Job Type: Freelance
    Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction to students in a fun and engaging way
  • Work with the Education Director to create a positive learning environment for our students
  • Create a strong connection with each student, regardless of their race, gender, or ethnicity
  • Encourage participation
  • Ensure all students are following the class schedule
  • Maintain cleanliness of the studio, including cleaning up after each class session
  • Respond quickly to student concerns about their classes and help troubleshoot any problems that arise
  • Help direct traffic in front of the studio during peak classes, as needed
  • Keep up-to-date on best practices for health and safety by attending workshops, classes, or seminars; maintain personal yoga experience by completing online courses; maintain personal fitness experience by completing online courses; completing personal training sessions; working out at local gyms if desired.
