Job Opportunity: Young Learner & Operations Assistant – Sofia Teaching Centre The British Council is seeking a proactive and organised individual to support the safety and wellbeing of Young Learner students and ensure the smooth daily operations of our Sofia Teaching Centre. This role involves supervising students in line with our Child Protection Policy, providing administrative support, and resolving issues related to our online learning hub. You will assist Operations Coordinators in managing class groups on our Learning Management System, coordinate the work of Teaching Assistants, and ensure timely processing of pay claims. Additionally, you’ll manage teaching resources and help distribute materials at the start of each term. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent English proficiency (minimum B2), a first degree or equivalent experience, and a background in administration and child protection. Proficiency in Bulgarian at C2 level and confidence using Microsoft Office are essential. Experience working with children, knowledge of teaching and learning processes, and familiarity with student management systems are desirable.
