JOB SUMMARY

  • To work directly with children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18 years to ensure their fullest possible engagement with Anyiso
  • Planning and facilitating activities and events
  • Identifying and developing new service opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with our existing children and youth group, while creating new activities and managing the coordination of current ones.
  • Maintain a high standard of record keeping
  • Work with other partner agencies to develop and promote activities
  • Represent Anyiso within the local area
  • Plan, programme and deliver activities and projects relevant to the children and young people’s needs
  • Work in line with existing policies and procedures, while developing new ones where necessary.
  • Any other duty as required by Anyiso management team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal workplan and prepare progress reports directed by the line Manager.
  • Regularly update operational systems in relation to all relevant work activity.
  • Prepare regular information updates for publication on website and through ebulletin.
  • As a team member, collaborate and work together on tasks/projects as demand dictates.
  • Contribute fully to the smooth running and professional operation of Anyiso.
  • Compliance with all organisational policies, and all legal obligations, relating to duties.
  • Maintain a best value culture and support the organisation’s vision and values.
  • An ambassador for Anyiso, promoting its vision and values.
