JOB SUMMARY

The Young People Key Worker plays a vital role in supporting and empowering young individuals in their personal development and well-being. This position involves providing tailored assistance to young people, ensuring their needs are met in a safe and nurturing environment. The Key Worker will work closely with families, educational institutions, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for the youth in our care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or similar environments is highly desirable.
  • Background in patient care or caregiving with a focus on young people is essential.
  • Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, or senior care is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices is required; relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with young individuals and their families.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.
  • Previous experience in childcare or youth work is beneficial. This role requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
