YOUNG PERSON’S PRACTITIONER – ENGAGEMENT & PARTICIPATION (NON-CASE-HOLDING ROLE)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?
Do you have the creativity, resilience, and commitment to engage those who are hardest to reach?

We’re looking for a Young Person’s Practitioner to join our dynamic Children’s Services team in a non-case-holding role, focusing on direct engagement, participation, and relational work with young people who are:

  • At risk of or experiencing exploitation
  • At the edge of care
  • Involved in or affected by serious youth violence

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a relationship-based role where you’ll work alongside social workers and youth justice professionals to build trusted, trauma-informed relationships with young people. You will:

  • Develop and deliver creative, youth-led interventions to reduce risk and build resilience
  • Promote participation and the voice of the young person
  • Support young people to access positive activities, peer networks, and specialist support
  • Offer a flexible and responsive approach, including community-based work
  • Build trusted relationships that reduce barriers to engagement and support long-term change
