Description

INTERVIEW DATE: 28TH JULY 2025

Do you have lived experience of the challenges young people face around housing, mental health, or accessing support? Are you passionate about using that experience to help others thrive?
We’re looking for a dedicated and empathetic Young Persons Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our team at whg, providing intensive housing-related support to young people to help them sustain their tenancy with whg. You will be working on an externally funded programme that whg is commissioned to deliver from Walsall Council.
You’ll play a vital role in delivering the aims of our Social Justice Strategy – Transforming Lives, working closely with customers to improve tenancy sustainment, reduce the risk of homelessness, and support their journey to independence.

We believe everyone has the right to a safe and secure home, which is the foundation for a successful life. We have been recognised as a top employer in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025. The awards celebrate the top employers in the UK who are leading the way in employee pride, job satisfaction and wellbeing, as well as reward and recognition.
We are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer, committed to providing opportunities and support for all applicants, including those with disabilities.
