WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A YOUNG PERSONS WORKER:

• Providing a high-quality service that is outcome driven to young people aged 11+, and up to 25 who have special educational needsor disabilities.
• Delivering youth activities and interventions with young people in centre-based youth groups, on a 1:1 basis.
• Maintaining effective working relationships and channels of communications with colleagues, their families, and the necessary professionals.
• Being alert to child protection and safeguarding issues.
• Retaining accurate and simultaneous records, using various IT systems to capture case details.
• Guiding and supporting apprentices and volunteers where necessary.
