The Life Cycle segment at Aker Solutions, takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to the end of production, Life Cycle ensure safe and efficient operations.
Our team in Trondheim is now looking for a Young professional automation Engineer.

What will you be doing?

• You will work together with some of our most experienced and knowledgeable engineers and gain valuable experience.
• You will be joining a dedicated team of engineers within the SIT & CSNE Mid-Norway department and learn the methods as you go.
• You will be provided various and challenging tasks in a fast-working environment gain both automation- and multidiscipline technical knowledge and experience in an effective way.
• You can expect to learn to use NORSOK Standards and gain knowledge within ATEX / NEK420 requirements, gain knowledge of field instrument engineering, electrical equipment and machines containing both instrumentation and intelligent electrical devices, control systems with programmed logic, incl. basic hardware, I/O circuits/loops, logic, HMI, interface protocols, communication networks, information security and understanding the totality of system functions and operability in industrial facilities
• Training will be given and you will receive a mentor to guide you while developing your skills.

We think you should have:

• Student graduating in 2025
• Area of study relevant to the role you are applying for
• You will be given all the tools you need to succeed, and the rest is up to you!
• Interest in following developments in technology and improving work methods
• Commercial mindset, strong work ethics, courageous, open minded and a proactive attitude
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiar with use of teams and similar digitalized collaboration tools
• Good in English - both written and verbally
