If you have graduated from university and are looking for an opportunity to transfer your knowledge into work practice, join our Young Professionals Traineeship. This 3–6-month programme is for ambitious young professionals searching for practical skills. You’ll be engaged in department projects and jump straight into the day-to-day tasks of the Fleet Management Department. Kickstart your career, develop your skills and make an impact on the quality of service BSM offers its clients. What will your work responsibilities be? Monitor updates and propose improvements in safety, security, and voyage efficiency; implement corrective actions from audits and incidents. Provide operational and commercial guidance to Masters, including voyage orders, port limitations, navigation risks, and security threats. Manage relationships with owners and charterers; address operational inquiries and complaints when required. Ensure vessels maintain statutory certifications and compliance with Class, Flag State, and Port State requirements. Identify and mitigate operational and security risks. Prepare and submit reports and statistics on vessel performance in collaboration with relevant teams. Requirements All applicants must : Have recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Be fluent in English both verbally and in writing. Have strong research, planning and organisation skills. Have high academic performance. Desire to contribute to global projects that impact the quality of service, work and life of others. Benefits What’s in it for you?
