The Division of Neonatology at the University of Arizona – Tucson seeks a qualified candidate to join our Level IV NICU as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. The incumbent will participate with the other members of the team in a number of activities including resident and medical student education, clinical research, quality improvement work, and other academic endeavors. Our group provides Neonatology services at Diamond Children’s Medical Center, Tucson’s premier children’s hospital with comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support. All teams supporting the unit have 24/7 NNP coverage, and the team embraces a collaborative approach to care with the Neonatologist and NNP working collaboratively. The ideal candidate will be a team player that fits into the culture and possesses an interest in POCUS, quality improvement, and/or outreach clinic. The department seeks individuals who are able to work with diverse students, trainees and colleagues, and has experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives. The physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona consistent with the candidate’s credentials.
