Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate youth and community programs that support wellbeing, engagement, and social inclusion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations, stakeholders, and service providers to enhance service delivery outcomes.
• Facilitate activities and programs designed to engage young people from diverse backgrounds and with varying support needs.
• Undertake administrative and operational duties to ensure the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of community services and programs.
• Support the ongoing development of programs and initiatives that respond to the needs of the local community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Services, or a related discipline, and/or significant experience working with young people.
• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering social, cultural, educational, or recreational programs for young people.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working with young people and community members with diverse and complex needs.
• A sound understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice frameworks relating to youth and community services.
• A current First Aid Certificate, or a willingness to obtain one.
