Description

Position responsibilities Load parts with crane straps/fixtures/baskets and move through passivation process Inspect parts to ensure conformance to standards Review production schedule along with communicating with supervisor/lead to define passivation schedule Log information for jobs Perform maintenance including emptying, cleaning, and filling acid tanks as necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area Ability to safely operate a forklift, manlift, or crane Ensures that all safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed and minimizes risk exposure May use computer to enter records Actively seeks information to further product knowledge and actively participates in training and development opportunities Other duties as necessary to support the manufacturing process. Skills and Abilities: Requires the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Strong collaborative and accommodation tendencies Ability to multi-task, managing a wide variety of priorities simultaneously with limited supervision Computer literate Effective written & verbal communication skills are required Experience/Education: High School diploma Several years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred Accurately passivate parts per work instruction, following environmental, safety and customer guidelines. Responsibilities

The Youth Apprentice will load parts and move them through the passivation process while inspecting for conformance to standards. They will also perform maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean work area.
