Successful candidates will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. The Youth Care Provider gives direct supervision of daily living and individualized learning plans of the youth in our care. Our Youth Care Providers: Provide care and supervision to youth residents Help with youth orientation Guide and support youth in carrying out daily activities such as morning routines, chores, homework, meal times, group activities and evening routines Implement behavior support techniques Provide a consistent, safe and supportive environment to help youth manage behavioral and emotional responses Builds positive relationships with youth by providing a consistent, supportive presence and engaging youth in ways that demonstrate respect, care and belief in their potential Must Haves: Must be 21 years of age Must possess High School diploma or equivalent Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field Some experience working directly with youth Some experience working in a clinical setting providing direct client care Some experience working in a youth residential setting This position would work 5/8 hour shifts from 6:45a - 3pm, and will include both weekend days What do we offer?
