As a Youth Care specialist, you will provide supervision, support, guidance, and build a therapeutic relationship with the youth under your care. A typical day as a Youth Care Specialist will include engaging with youth in the program, providing direction, structure and support for their physical and physiological needs. Scheduling and participating in activities, ensuring the physical milieus remain clean and safe, completing daily documentation as required by regulatory standards and transporting clients as needed for appointments and activities This position may require travel to various residential facilities within the Knoxville area. As a PRN Youth Care Specialist, you are required to work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month if work is available to you. 1st Shift: 7am-7pm or 2nd Shift: 7pm-7am Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday What does this position offer? Starting Pay Range: $18 - $21.50/hourly based on experience Requirements Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of one year of experience working in a residential youth or adult operation or related experience working in the field of child and family services.
