Description Job Title: Youth CoordinatorPosition Type: Full-Time, SalariedOverview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Youth Coordinator to lead and oversee our Kids Club, lifeguard team, and youth activities. This is a full-time, salaried position responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising a variety of programs and staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and positive experience for all youth participants.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support Kids Club staff, lifeguards, and youth activity leaders Develop, coordinate, and implement youth programs, activities, and special events Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children and teens in the program Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff Manage program budgets, supplies, and equipment Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff Monitor safety standards and enforce facility rules, especially in aquatic settings Maintain accurate records and reports related to attendance, incidents, and program outcomes Interacts with other departments to promote youth programs Compensation: Full-time salaried position (compensation commensurate with experience) Benefits package available How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and interest in the Youth Coordinator position.Join our team and help create a fun, safe, and enriching environment for youth in our community! Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience working with youth and supervising staff, preferably in a recreational or educational setting Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain) Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, child development, or related field preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment Continuous walking and standing. Frequent lifting, pulling, bending, stooping and repetitive actions. Ability to project one's voice and gain the attention and cooperation of youngsters. Occasionally, must work outdoors in inclement weather.
