THE ROLE As a Part-Time Youth Mentor, you’ll play a key role in our youth services program, supporting youth with disabilities in achieving their personal goals. SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION Hourly Rate: $16.35/Hour Hours: 10-20 hours per week After School Programming: 2:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m (Monday-Friday) Non School Day Programming: 7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. (Monday-Friday) Summer Programming: 7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. (Monday-Friday) Flexibility: Scheduling tailored to your availability WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide support to youth participants with disabilities. Assist during After School Hours (2:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.) and adjust to summer schedules (7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). Assist with Non School Day Programming ((7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) VARIES Work collaboratively with the Aptiv team to help youth develop independence, social, and life skills. Mentor participants one-on-one and in small group settings. Teach emotional regulation, coping, and anger management strategies. Maintain consistency, strong communication, and accurate, up-to-date documentation. QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma. Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation. Meet the State of Wisconsin’s minimum auto insurance requirements.
