At New Focus Academy, we assist students with a variety of cognitive, social, and emotional struggles affecting their ability to manage their interpersonal relationships and daily life, such as Autism Spectrum & Psychosis Spectrum. As a Youth Mentor you will be trained in proper mentoring methods. You will be responsible for working with and supervising the milieu, but you will be officially mentoring up to four students - working daily to help them reach their therapeutic goals and gain greater awareness of their unique abilities to adapt and succeed as they strive for the greatest level of autonomy they can achieve. Our Youth Mentors will be with students and other team members in both on-campus and off-campus activities. These activities may include:
