Position Summary The Youth Recreational Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight, programming, and operational excellence of Brody’s Nest, the Club’s youth recreation and activity space. This role ensures that all children, families, and members experience a safe, fun, and engaging environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest service. The Supervisor leads a team of youth recreation staff, manages scheduling, develops programming, oversees birthday party rentals, and maintains all operational procedures and inventory needs for the space. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Staff Leadership & Scheduling Supervise all Brody’s Nest staff and serve as the leader during youth programming hours. Create, publish, and manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage at all times. Train staff on safety standards, SOPs, child engagement expectations, and member service. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and accountability to the Brody’s Nest team. Youth Programs & Events Plan, organize, and execute all youth and family programs held in Brody’s Nest. Develop creative activities, pop-up events, and new ideas that enhance member participation. Coordinate and run member birthday party rentals within the space, including setup, planning, and onsite execution. Collaborate with the Director of Member Engagement on seasonal programming and large club-wide youth events. Operations & Facility Management Ensure Brody’s Nest is always clean, safe, and presentable, following all established SOPs. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for games, supplies, crafts, snacks, and equipment. Submit work orders for damaged or malfunctioning items and track follow-up. Communicate ordering needs to the Director of Member Engagement in a timely manner. Oversee proper opening/closing procedures and compliance with all safety policies. Administrative & Member Service Responsibilities Ensure accurate billing for birthday party rentals, youth programs, and drop-in services. Maintain attendance logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Serve as the main point of contact for parents regarding Brody’s Nest programs, questions, and concerns. Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to all members and their children. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Experience working with children in a recreation, education, camp, or youth program setting. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Energetic, creative, and passionate about delivering exceptional youth experiences.
