Description AR 2625 JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE Youth Services Page SALARY GRADE I FLSA Non-Exempt LOCATION Youth Services SUPERVISOR Assistant Department Head, Youth Services JOB SUMMARY Shelves and maintains order of library materials, performs basic public service, and performs routine clerical work related to a public service area or support service area. MAJOR TASKS The nature of assigned tasks and responsibilities will depend, in part, upon the number of hours scheduled. Shelve library materials according to library organization, including alphabetization and the Dewey Decimal System. Regularly review materials on library shelves to ensure proper placement (shelf read). Assist with overall appearance of the department. Perform other tasks assigned by department supervisor. Requirements REQUIREMENTS Minimum age requirement of 16 or older; Interest and ability in working with the public; Communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Ability to work independently and with attention to detail; Ability to work with standard computer applications; Schedule includes evenings and weekends (OLPL Employee Benefits) https://www.olpl.org/media/117
