Description 1. Fulfill the YMCA’s mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. 2. Supervise practices and games for Youth Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Volleyball 3. Give basic sports knowledge and ensure a positive experience for participants. 4. Build effective, authentic relationships with children and parents. 5. Ensure the safety of all by following proper precautions and regulations. 6. Encourage the involvement of all participants. 7. Assist the Sports Director and Coordinator in assuring our equipment and fields meet quality standards. 8. Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors. YOUTH SPORTS SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Be present at all practices and games Assist with coaching of teams Parent supervision and behavior management Field preparation (Painting, sweeping, etc.) Set Up and Take Down of Equipment when needed

Responsibilities

The assistant will supervise youth sports practices and games, including Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball, while imparting basic sports knowledge and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. Responsibilities also include assisting the Sports Director with equipment and field quality, managing parent behavior, and handling equipment setup and takedown.
