POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative and quick-moving Youth Sports Photographer to capture the energy, joy, and candid moments of our fall programs and special events. This role is perfect for someone who thrives behind the lens in dynamic, kid-focused environments and knows how to tell a story through action shots and authentic expressions.
This is a part-time contract position running for 5 weeks, from September 21 to October 26, 2025, with flexible scheduling based on program needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must provide their own photography equipment (DSLR or mirrorless camera preferred); familiarity with sports photography preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to engage respectfully with children, coaches, and families
• Comfortable working outdoors and on the move
• Portfolio or sample work required with application

• Capture high-quality action shots of youth athletes during group activities
• Document behind-the-scenes moments that highlight staff, families, and community engagement
• Organize and edit photos for use in marketing materials, social media, and partner communications
• Collaborate with program leads to understand daily schedules and key photo opportunities
• Ensure all images reflect our values of safety, inclusivity, and fun
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for all participants and families
