Description

Youth Workers are responsible for administering programs for youth aged 12 to 17 and promoting their personal, educational, and social development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Standard CPR/First Aid is beneficial
  • Able to provide a recent (no more than three month old) criminal record check
  • Drivers License is required.

RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure that each youth is safe and that unsafe activities do not take place.
  • Comply with all risk management policies and procedures.
  • Record any safety incidents that occur during shift.
  • Inform management if other staff members, volunteers, etc. are failing to comply with policies and standards
    This position would be great for a student who is looking for a part time position while furthering their Education. The main role is to act as a mentor/ role model for the youth who attend our drop in program during afternoons and weekends.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From $18.72 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
