Crossroads Programs Position: Youth Support Worker | Direct Support Professional Location: Hope Homes - Holyoke | Willingboro, NJ 08046 Pay: $18.50 per hour Job Type: On-Call | Short Hour (SUB) We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of adolescents. Join our team as a Direct Support Professional | Youth Support Worker and together, we will continue providing a safe, supervised and structured residential setting for at-risk adolescents. The Ideal Youth Support Worker | Direct Support Professional * Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members. * Has knowledge and understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. * Can assist with daily living activities and implement behavior management strategies. * Demonstrates composure in challenging situations, exhibiting patience and understanding. Responsibilities * Provide direct care and support to up to five residents, including supervision, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments and activities. * Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for each resident. * Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and effective delivery of therapeutic care. * Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other career development activities. * Maintain accurate and complete resident records, including progress notes and incident reports.
