Job Description
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Serves as a member of the Central YMCA Leadership Team. Directs and supervises staff, program activities and facilities to meet the needs of YMCA members and the community and fulfill YMCA objectives. Develops, organizes, and implements high quality YMCA Programs including After School, Summer Day Camp, Leaders Club, Youth in Government, Youth/Teen Nights, Recreation Center, Child Watch/KidZone, and special events. Create a culture of transforming lives through friendship, achievement, and belonging.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age 21
• Bachelor’s degree in education/related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Two years related experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Listens and expresses effectively and in a way that engages, inspires, and builds commitment to the Y’s cause.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community, including youth and families from area demographics.
• Computer and technology skills.
