REQUIREMENTS:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with people who have complex needs in a social care setting.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • A full UK driving license (desirable).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Residential Support Worker at Bedspace, you’ll provide one-on-one, 24/7 support to young people living in the community. Your role will involve helping them develop essential life skills, independence, and guiding them through their day-to-day challenges. You’ll be working closely with our Wirral and Chester Pathway team, tailoring your support to meet the specific needs of each young person, ensuring they feel safe and empowered in their journey toward independence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide tailored, one-on-one support to young people, helping them develop life skills.
  • Assist with educational, health, and welfare needs, ensuring access to necessary resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of service users’ progress.
  • Help young people manage their daily tasks and appointments.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment through regular communication and monitoring.
