If you are passionate about supporting young people to build confidence, resilience and wellbeing, and would like to work with a great team, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position, working from 3pm – 11:30pm, Friday – Monday. Based in Hillpark, Auckland. About You | Mōu: You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach and working in a team of youth workers. We understand the needs of every taiohi are different, so we offer both day support and overnight stay options. During a stay, our team support young people to develop problem solving and life skills and build resilience. Our respite service is a place to land, learn and grow. You will have: A National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Work (Level4) or National Certificate in Youth Work. An understanding of trauma-informed care and working with young people. A full driver’s licence. An understanding of Information Technology – Microsoft Office preferred. A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one. Previous experience in youth work, social work, mental health and addiction preferred.
