The YouthBuild Job Development Case Manager oversees the success of YouthBuild program participants. This position supports the work of DAEOC, a community action agency committed to empowering people to make positive change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Register program participants in DAEOC’s Apprenticeship Program.
• Create an employment plan or goal for each program participant.
• Assist program participants with employment applications and interview preparation for employment.
• Continuously track the program participant progress and follow up after completion.
• Recruit participants for the YouthBuild program.
• Answer questions and/or discuss classroom issues involving attendance or behavior, offer guidance for successful worksite performance and future employment.
• Provide continuous support and guidance for program participants.

Education and/or Experience and Professional Requirements:

• High school diplomja or equivalent is reuired
• Associates degree in business, human resource management or education is preferred
• Experience in adult education is desirable
• Clean Background Check and Drug/Alcohol Test
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License

Other Qualifications:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which will include evenings. Must be able to travel the six-county area occasionally and go out-of-area on a periodic basis.
