ABOUT THE ROLE

Project Timber is looking for a YouTube expert to set up, manage, and grow our YouTube channel from scratch. Whether you come in to build the foundation and hand it over, or take full control as a long-term leader, we need someone who has successfully scaled YouTube channels before.
This is not just a content creation role—it’s a YouTube-first position, requiring deep knowledge of YouTube algorithms, SEO, analytics, and monetisation strategies. If you’ve built and grown channels to 100K+ subscribers and know how to structure content for maximum engagement, retention, and virality, this is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Launch & optimise our YouTube channel, ensuring a strong foundation for growth.
• Develop & execute a YouTube-first content strategy, structuring videos for engagement and retention.
• Work with the in-house content team (camera operators, editors, designers) to direct and optimise video production.
• Analyse data & performance metrics, refining strategy based on YouTube analytics.
• Optimise thumbnails, titles, and descriptions to maximise click-through rates.
• Repurpose content for short-form platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook).
• Stay ahead of trends, ensuring Project Timber remains at the cutting edge of YouTube content.
