Description

ABOUT US

Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has remodelled the services it offers to Young People aged 16-24 years who are or are at risk of becoming homeless. The services for 16- and 17-year olds are now delivered in-house by OCC. This service will prepare young people for independence through supporting them to develop skills, access employment, education or training and reconnecting them with family members (where safe).

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the development of this new project to deliver a YPSA service which achieves positive outcomes for young people. The role requires shift working between 08.30am-10.00pm and sleep-ins, when required. You will oversee a caseload of children living in HMOs in the community, supporting them through Outcome Stars, AQAs, and structured keyworking sessions to develop their independence so they are ready to move-on when they reach 18.
