Enterprise Knowledge is looking for a full-time Principal Learning and Development Consultant to join our growing Technology Solutions practice. Given the current COVID-19 Pandemic, this position will work remotely up to four days per week, with one day per week anticipated at EK’s headquarters in Arlington, VA. Once the current health situation subsides, this position will be based full-time in Arlington, VA. You will deliver change management, organization design, and governance, culture, and technology adoption solutions that enable the success of transformation goals for industry-leading clients. This is more than just instructional design and training content, this is end-to-end consulting and coaching to help transform how organizations develop their staff. As a Principal Learning and Development Consultant, you will be asked to build and manage a team of professionals, applying expertise with HR strategy, capacity building, digital transformation, instructional design, and competency design, and learning technology to guide learning transformations for a wide range of public and private organizations. This work will include helping organizations modernize their learning and performance capabilities in the face of remote work and hybrid work challenges. Your day-to-day will include: Working closely with teams to hone offerings and ensure deliverables are of the highest quality; Leading and managing teams to contribute to overall project success; Maintaining a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate; Leading business development and marketing of new learning transformation services; and Enjoying the opportunity to forge strong relationships with both the client and project teams that will contribute to your growth and development. As a Principal Learning Consultant, you will focus on increasing the business impact and optimizing the learning function by increasing the learner centricity and experience of learning; increasing the efficiency of operations, the effectiveness of learning programs, and alignment of learning with business strategy. In this role, you will support multiple types of Digital Learning Experience and Learning Advisory projects, such as: Learning Experience Design Learning Curation Strategy & Execution Digital Learning Strategy Learning operations assessment and analysis. Learning transformation strategy and roadmap development. Learning organization and governance design. Curriculum analysis, design, and evaluation. Practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc. Business development efforts, including proposal development, client presentations, conference presentations, and web content creation. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree 5+ years learning-related experience 5+ years consulting experience 2+ years experience leading learning advisory projects and teams. 2+ years managing people (as direct reports) Strong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously Strong oral and written communication skills Preferred: Experience with Knowledge Management practices and/or technologies Experience implementing Cornerstone, SumTotal, Saba, and/or Success Factors LMS Experience implementing technologies designed to transform event-based learning such as xAPI and social learning platforms Experience working on large federal contracts and/or commercial accounts over $1M in value Proven success in business development and marketing “We are an equal opportunity employer.
