You will play a crucial role via the following: Support IBM Mainframes Plan and perform upgrades to the z/VM OS and ISV products Support day-to-day activities and resolve problems on client systems Provide support for zLinux guests Monitor system performance and implement tuning and capacity planning improvements Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies Provide support for offsite disaster recovery tests Engage with situations that require a high degree of technical complexity and a significant level of customer interface Work well in a team environment WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
